KOIS | DUALITY

Two koi swim through a world of time and transience – rough, cracked, concrete, rust and renewal; within it: life. Radiance. Dynamism.

In Yin and Yang, they circle each other, finding one another without touching.

This image radiates calm and strength; it is an anchor.

It brings stillness whilst at the same time

overcoming distance.

A harsh world. And yet so much calm.

I love the contrast – the soft, living forms set against the hard, scratched background.

It symbolises happiness and unity.
