WALTRAUD

Waltraud is a tactile, multi-layered mixed-media piece.

Delicate drawing meets rugged texture: linen, paper, modeling paste, and washes of color in soft turquoise, warm sand, misty gray, and azulejo blue.

The artwork brings a sense of calm to a room while imbuing it with a soul and a story—and perhaps even eliciting a smile.

Weathered walls, water, and textures reminiscent of aged plastered facades and soft, diffused light.

The style is unmistakably mine: poetic, raw, and profound.

A serene color palette of gray-blues and warm beige, with the azulejo blue serving as a deliberate, striking accent.
